Electronic counting machine suitable for counting the most diverse solid drug forms such as capsules, round and oblong tablets, tablets, softgels, etc. The diameter of the solids must be between 5 mm and 25 mm and the maximum thickness is 20 mm.

Equipped with a PLC connected to a backlit touch-screen terminal for setting the counting parameters (no. of pieces per bottle, no. of bottles to be packed, safeties). To ensure maximum precision and continuity in counting, the machine is equipped with a photocell consisting of 3 transmitter elements and 5 receiver elements, in addition to the double speed of the feeding disc.

The counting machine can count and package capsules of all formats (including DB Caps) or round tablets, oval tablets with or without external coating, softgels without replacing any mechanical parts but simply adjusting them on the machines. The machine output can reach up to 150,000 pieces/hour.

Parts in contact with the product are easily inspected and removed and made of AISI 316 stainless steel or FDA approved material.

All production parameters are fully programmable via the touch-screen and all functions are designed in accordance with GMP standards.

For the removal of dust and small fragments (especially when counting tablets) it is possible to equip the machine with some optional extras: a tray with sieve and a suction system with two pick-up points. The solids distributor disc is made of glass so as not to electrostatically charge the product to be processed.

Size changeover is extremely easy and quick as only a few simple adjustment operations are required.
